I know that when the German army was learning about quick mobilisation before WW2, they visited the circus, cause they figured nobody knew more than circus people about setting stuff up fast, then taking it down again.

Back in the 1930's and 1940's in Hollywood, California, there was a "gentlemen's club" that was run and owned by a Mae West lookalike. She dressed and talked and acted like Mae. Her girls were made up by experts to look like famous actresses of the day, such as Joan Crawford, Carole Lombard, Ginger Rogers, Janet Gaynor, etc. The ladies were expected to ALWAYS "be" the person they were made up like when they were "working". They were required to study up and keep abreast of all the latest news and gossip about their actress, so they'd be able to stay in character. Madame Mae took this ALL VERY SERIOUSLY and the girls were expected to do the same. If you think I'm making this up, read the autobiography of the famous director, Garson Kanin, entitled "Hollywood". It's in there!

Hitler was the one who 'founded' Volkswagen. He wanted a better car for Germans and employed some people to build them. Voila, a Hitler-built- economic car.

"Syzygy," with its three Y's as its only vowels, holds a unique place in the English language.
Hogs, when they have a "bone r," really do. The bone can, if you're desperate, be used as a corkscrew (and you can make another pun or two with sexual ennuendo with that one).
