Boyfriend-- pregnant--again????

How many "agains" has this been????

the ring makes NO difference in the world--WalMart or otherwise, it's important you are old enough and responsbile enough to take care of your children...or stop having unprotected sex for the time being!

Maybe you should save the money for the upcoming baby! When my husband and I first got married he had purchased this really nice ring from a really great Jewler, but then he got stationed somewhere else and I wanted to finish my college degree and with transfering universities it put me behind another year. So we knew I would not be working a great job right away. I made him take it back and get the money for it. We were able to build a house that year and furnish it, which we would not have been able to without going into debt if I kept the ring. It was the wisest decision we made. That house made us a great deal of money when he got restationed this March, I graduated from college and am now in Grad school, and then after 2 years I got a ring that was double what the original cost. Plus, we are financially stable so I do not have to work and can stay home with the baby I am having. So, what I guess I am saying is that: rings are nice to have and look at, but you all may be able to spend the money in a more needed area when the baby comes or you can always save it.

Many jewellery stores offer a wide selection of diamond promise rings for very reasonable prices. The quality will be somewhat better than what you would find at Wal-mart.

Umm promise ring? Sounds to me like he would be better off going ahead and getting you the wedding set.. The rings from Wal Mart are nice. My moms set came from there, and it has held for 10 years almost.. They are cheaper, and look just as nice... Congratulations and Best of Luck...

Most rings sold in "big box" stores are ten caret gold and the diamonds while real are of lesser clarity. But if its the thought that counts by all means get what you can afford as opposed to spending more money than is available. The naked eye cannot redily tell the difference in diamond quality..

I thought only 15 year olds gave promise rings? I think the rings are nice though.

The fact that he is wanting to do something like this is nice. It truly is the thought that counts and I don't see where the ring comes from should matter.
