What are some examples of fallacies in the media--print, sound, or visual?

This may not answer your question but, the new media spends too much time reporting on Hollywood type items, American Idol, B. spears, Paris Hilton etc. Should spend more time of letting us know whats going on in the world that really matters, War, Congress, Katrina clean up, etc.
