This is a vury special occasion. Cheyanne and I will be married 2 years tonite. I got me a fresch catfish down at the creek and when I pick my woman up from her shift a the DQ we's a planning to celebrate.

Which vintage would best compliment this occasion? I have $8.00 to spend.

For around $8 you can get a decent red table wine. I would suggest Beringer or Sutter Home. Merlot is probably smoother if you normally drink beer.

Oh, and some people think you have to drink white with fish. But I find that some fish, like catfish, maui maui and tuna can handle a red.

congratulations! i havent had catfish in forever but my daddy was quite the fisherman back in the day and my mama loved catfish! hope you have some cole slaw and hush puppies with that! i like boones farm strawberry hill myself,yalll have fun.good luck.
