I think that they both made wrong decisions in the past and they are now living with it. They are known since they were young girls. They live in a fake world (celebrity) where all it counts is the outside, not the inside. You can easily loose yourself in that kind of reality and fall into drugs to forget that you are not happy with your life. We all need love, even Britneys Spears and Lindsay Lohan. But how can you be sure that the people around you are there for you instead of you money and situation when you are a celebrity?

ummm what do you mean by normal?. Most girls I know in their age groups drink and do wild things occasionally. Britney is a little extreme though, she needs help. Lindsay is your typical 20-21 year college girl, she just happens to be famous.
