Important people think it's nice to be important, and nice people think it's important to be nice, therefore, the question cannot be answered by the important or nice people. The decision must be concluded by others.

I feel it is extremely important to try to be nice, as much as humanly possible(something that is not always easy,but a good thing to strive for,as it can be tasking and a bit challenging at times)and as far as I am concerned,I have never really felt anyone was that Important that they were partial to, or stood out, above and beyond the rest of the human race.

I think a little of both.
As much as no one like to admit it, everyone likes to feel special (important).
But a good way to feel special and have others reckonize you as important, is to be nice.

if you are important that makes it more important to be nice i think but usually doesnt happen and wouldnt it depend on ones terminology of important i think

To be ethical, it is more important to be nice, but unfortunately, we are only humans and we feel great when we are considered to be significant or important.
