I personally think that celebrities are full of themselves! Stars may be amazingly talented, but why must our lives revolve around the fact that they are talented? Now these stars' kids are being screwed up by the media and the fact that they are spoiled each and every day disturbs me greatly! I am not some weird conservative freak, in fact I am one of the most liberal people around but they are not that great half of the time and they act like they are all that! People in real life work so much harder and they get paid minuscule salaries compared to celebs? Why do they get a fat paycheck, just because they play a few sport games and make a movie. Real people are the true celebrities, the fake ones just think they are.

Because the public in general treats them as if they are. Many of the celebrities, make statements, about things of which they know little or nothing, and people accept what is said, as the word of God.

Probably because people treat them that way. People idolize them and some (in a way) even worship them, become obsessive and treat them in a such a manner, many of them have the logic that if they are treated as such, they should be.
I like the ones that when you meet them are still normal people and down to earth, no ego inflation or anything. It's lovely to just talk to them like normal. :)

Because they can get away with anything. Look at Robert Downey jr. if he were a common man, he would be in jail.
They believe that because they are famous they can do whatever they want, they are like spoiled children.

In general, I think they buy into their own hype. Because they're rich, there are very few people who criticize them, even constructively, and they can very easily cut out the ones that do.
