Lately ive been bleeding during sex... it was right after my period but it came at a time when normally everything is fine agian.. clearly no one on here is a professional so i do plan to see the doctor.. but have any girls experienced this? I know its not due to lack of lubrication.. because well.. we used lubrication plus ive been having sex for years... has this happened to anyone and what were you diagnosed with?

It could very well be a lubercation problem. It just might not be enough. Have you only had sex once and it bled? If it was just that one time then I would just conclude that it was a last leg of your period and you shouldn't worry about it. If it continues, however you really should go to a doctor and have him/her give you some medical advice.

It could be just the "trauma" to your cervix (that's the opening to where your uterus is). I've only experienced this during pregnancy, but if you're having sex a lot, it could be the "trauma" of the constant contact and "pounding" of your cervix fromt he physical act of sex, especially if the man is long enough to reach all the way to your cervix.
But seriously, go to the doctor, and everyone will tell you to get tested for STD's... and you'll roll your eyes right? But STD's can cause bleeding down there, too. Especially HPV and Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID). It's better to be safe than sorry... at least you'll know; but don't worry 'till there's something to worry about, k?

I wouldnt start worrying but that definately is concerning. I always say that any bleeding after sex is not good unless you are due for a period. It could be that when you are having sex, it is a little too rough for you. I would definately consult a doctor for some advice on this.

There are several things that could cause bleeding. You could have polyps or fibroids for example. We can speculate all night about what it MIGHT be but you really need to see a doctor soon. Remember, even if it should be something more serious, the sooner you get it taken care of the better. Good luck!

Sometimes you get a condition called Endometreosis. I have this and bleed during sex and have alittle pain. There are things you can do, going to the doctor is the first step. There are web-sites out there that help you with this.

If this is a new partner and he is bigger than your last it may be that you just got stretched out more so you tore a little bit. If it's not maybe you had to rough of sex.

this has happened to me before, and i blamed it on my birth control! thats the only thing that i could think of that would cause bleeding! like you said, you need to just talk to your doctor, just call him/her and be like, yo i'm bleeding after sex. whats the deal? i'm sure this happens to alot of people!
