It feels just the same to you when the homophobic people try to make us celebrate the "straight life" and shove the anit gay thoughts on us either. It seems the homophobic person is the provoker of hate

It would appear to me, (from my point of view that is) that many homophobes tend to feel asking about others sexuality would be better than attempting to get to know a person first. The other reason is that if homophobes don't know about the person(s) they're bad mouthing, then what can it hurt them in the long run. Really it's no easy answer no matter how much you examine the problem.

Homophobes are normally either haters or scared, free speech is important but claiming that preaching hatred is free speech is wrong. Religious bigotry and hatred is still hatred and bigotry, nothing changes just by hiding it under religious speech. Being LBGT doesn't have anything to do with morality as morals is being good not who you love. Peaceful speech isn't going to be redefined as dangerous. Why do some straights feel it's OK to hate gays? Homophobes are stupid silly people with no life or humanity

i know right. i am friends with several straight males, who are secure about their own sexuality, they don't care that I'm gay. but then you see these homophobes that are crazy and want to know everything about me, even my sex life. Sounds like a closet homo to me

somehow they think they need to know everyone who is having sex and with who. For people who hate gay people, they sure seem to want to know more about gay sex.

they don't have a life of their own and because of it they have to try to find somebody else to blame because they for some reason think that they are without blame about their own problems.

The standard "parlor (meaning amateur) psychology" answer is that they're all suppressing their homosexuality. This can't possibly be true of ALL of them, but . . .
