Using a dopplar moniter you can hear it as early as 9 weeks but with a stethoscope, you can hear it around 20 weeks.

I have never heard of being able to hear it on a stethoscope, but they do have a machine you can buy to hear it. Its sensitive enough to pick it up, just finding it is the problem. I would say 4 months along.

You can hear the hb at about 12 weeks with a doppler but a sethoscope is more like after 18-20+ weeks.

I had a vaginal ultra sound at 6 weeks and heard the baby's heart beat at 6 weeks I will probably hear the heart beat again next week at my 12 week check up

I didnt know you could hear it on a stethascope but I just had my first ultrasound today and my doctor told me he could hear the heartbeat at 5 to 6 weeks.

It varies. Some can hear it as early as 6 weeks, for most it takes a few more.
