I agree! I really haven't paid attention to it since Season3! After that I lost interest. And many of the idols and runnersup don't become huge stars-Ruben-no career, Fantasia-had no career until the "Color Purple", Justin Guarini-M.I.A., Taylor Hicks-a wonderboy for 15 minutes and no career, etc. The only ones that have a career are Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken and Carrie Underwood (who should have been on the country version of American Idol instead). Simon is an arrogant jerk, Paula is a ditz and Randy is a fake. And when Prince was on last year's finale, that really did it for me. He wouldn't have been caught DEAD on a show like that 5 or 10 years ago!

I've stopped watching American Idol long ago, it gets boring after one or two seasons. It's the same thing over and over again. For me, the best part was the auditions =)

Sorry, i don't watch the show anymore. People must chose raw talent though talent is not the all thing here. The idol must have star quality and mass appeal.

after the first season it just got old real fast. the first time is always the best for those types of shows.

yes i agree. well, yeah i agree i have hardly watched this season because i didnt think any of the singers were interesting enough or talented enough for me to like them. except blake is going to have my babies
