Oh, they are working though. Think about it, you spend the day chatting with the opposite sex about God knows what, gain someones trust and "affection", ask for money so they can "visit" or buy food or what ever and lastly have nothing else to do but enjoy the cash they may succeed in getting in the long run. It is smart don't you think? I did not say it was right, but smart.
Why go to a dead end job that will only pay say $500.00 a week when one could be conversing with over say 50 others at the same time. All the while building confidence and trust up, as well as an imaginary relationship. Talk about an ego boost. And one in say fifty guys send you money to help out with whatever in whatever dominational amounts daily.
Ok lets do the math. My Visa will cost $400.00, a ticket will be another $750.00, I need $150.00 for my electric before it gets cut off, etc... That is a good amount of untaxed money to make in a week do you not think?

For the same reason why some Men ask gullible Women for money, after they have manipulated their minds in thinking that they like the Woman. No different, than some Women doing it to some Men, as you have stated.
That's just the way some Internet scam artist work. They look for gullible People. Feed them lines that they want to hear and lure them into their tangled web, until they have no use for them and move on to the next gullible victim, just like the ones that do it off-line. No different either.

That is their work, they call themselves scam artists.
And, for the record, some of those women are men pretending to be women. Its all a con.

They are scammers--what used to be called con artists.
And they aren't only women, either.
I get a few of these each week in my mailbox.
Just don't respond; hopefully they will go away in time.
Good luck

You never really know what has happened to them. I guess they're just desperate, or trying to make a quick buck.
