people please stop critizism!
i have been researching about pigs and i know most of the stuff about many breeds of dogs.
and where i live, pigs can be indoor pets or outdoor!
i am planning on haveing the pig indoor and outdoor so it can root and play outside.
i wouldnt mind a puppy but i don't have HUNDREDS or THOUSANDS to spend on a yorkie pup. i am not rich and if i bought the pup for $1000 than i wouldnt have the money for vet bills!
so lets be serious here. i bought my chihuahua for $200 from my dad's friend but i am willing to pay up to $100 for a pup and up to $50 for a pig

Hoofstock (including pigs) are restricted in most cities and suburbs. They are considered farm animals and unless you live in a rural zone, you probably will not be allowed to have one. Also, even the smallest pigs can get pretty fat and heavy and be hard to manage. Males grow tusks that have to be removed to prevent serious injury to your other pets and family.
I suggest you adopt a homeless dog from an animal shelter. Rescued dogs are always grateful to their owners- you'll never get more love back than when you save a dog's life.
Check out www.akc.org or www.dogbreedinfo.com for a breakdown of each breed.

first in most areas even a potbellied pig is considered a farm animal and are you zoed for that. they need a special diet and it's not easy in my area to get teh food and i have to pay extra to have the food shippped.
pigs are a lot of care and you really need to find out as much as you can.
Also how old are you and if you are young what will happen with the animals if you deside not to have them.
it also depend on you other animals. they are use to domestic animals but how will they be around a a pig. Also check into your pigs even a lot of pot bellied pigs being advertised are mixed with feeding pigs and cah get well over 200 pounds where a true pot bellie shouldn't get over 45 pounds.
I say study for at least 1 month straight and get as much info as you can before deciding.
Good luck with your decisssion

I think you should get a puppy because, pigglets dont stay small forever they do get bigger they can get to be a real handful :)) A good kind of dog would be a cocker spaniel i have one and i love her there pretty small dogs but not as small has say a chawawa... If you do decide on a pig do ur research. Some pigs you can get miniature :):):):)

You should soooooo get a piglet. I mean you already have 3 dogs. Why don't you add a brand new member. Someone different. Don't listen to the people who tell you pigs are gross or cause trouble. They aren't experts. The haven't ever raised a pig.

If you go with a piglet, make sure to research, research, research! They require special care as pets and they get quite big. Sometimes they can be aggressive, especially towards other pets. But they really are very sweet and highly intelligent. They're smarter than dogs and can learn more tricks and are much cleaner. Just make sure you're getting what's right for the animal and for your family!

I think you should get a piglet.
Not only are potbelly pigs (which, I assume, is the type you're looking into purchasing?) so very intelligent, but they also have such adorable personalities! I vote towards piglet. :]
