Please note where there are numbers(or letters) infront of the √ it should actually be inside of it. Please see http://www.purplemath.com/modules/radicals2.htm

sqrt(2) = 2^.5
1/2 = 2^-1

so 1/sqrt(2) = 2^(-0.5)

1/3(sqrt(2^-n))
1/3* (2^-n)^-(0.5)

Sorry. I can't read the last one.
