The best bet if you dont spend over $6000 is the CHASE FREEDOM card. 3% on gas station, supermarket, and fast food. But feel free to see the following link I provided for more great credit cards. You might find one that better suits your lifestyle.

Sounds like you don't like the tiers with the AmEx Blue Cash card. Neither do I. : ) That's why I'm using the Citi Driver's Edge card which pays between 6% and 12% on gas/grocery/drug store spending in the first year and 3-6% in subsequent years. (The variance depends on how many miles you drive your car in the optional "Drive Rewards" program.) Note that you have to apply your earnings to vehicle maintenance, lease, or purchase -- but that's basically as good as cash if you own a vehicle.

There are rewards DEBIT cards available these days. They beat credit cards any day.
