Well, if you doubt it exists, try hitting it with a big stick and see if it vanishes like a puff of smoke...

Oooops...is it still there? Yup. I thought so. Hmm-m must really be there.

On to my next pipe dream...

Yeah, it has been this big for a pretty long time.

No, it is not as small as an atom. That is really small. You can't even hold one atom in your hand. You would be holding trillions of them in a very small speck of dirt.

Believe me, it is much easier to study things the way they are than it is to dream up concoctions of ways things might be but are not.

1) yes the sky really exists...What you are seeing in the sky is the atmosphere...the Light from the sun bends when it hits our atmosphere and scatters the light, shifted towards the blue wave length of light in the visual spectrum because of the properties of the different substances in the atmosphere and the angle inwhich the light from the sun goes through them, which is why when the sun sets the sky turns red and orange because it goes through more atmosphere and stretches the wave length seen to the red part of the spectrum...a longer wave length. 2) The earth Does have a magnetic Top and bottom which migrate over time and flip, as well as an Tropic top and bottom the (The poles)
3) The Earth it self is a collection of billions and trillions of atoms, so no, it was never just one atom but a collection of them in the beginning but was not the EARTH until it had a solid core and was essentially a big furnace where much of the iron and nickel were pulled to the center to create the solid and liquid core of the earth which the motion of the liquid core against the solid creates the magnetic field that creates the magnetic poles.....aaannnd such. so, I think that pretty much answers your questions from a scientific stand point.

what the...??!! did someone slip you a micky or did you bump your head?hmm does the sky exist...well you can see it, touch it, and if you stick your head out an airplane window: taste the bugs that fly into your mouth. so basicly besides the fact that its just a mere open unused space it does still in fact exist. if a tree fell in the woods and noones around (or they are deaf), does it make a noise? hell yes it does. was the earth a small single atom at one time? well if that was the case it wouldnt be considered a planet and noone could have actully have gave it the name earth, unless you name every dust particle in your living room in hopes they might collect and form a dust bunny. BTW what color was that paper or pill you been eating? id like to try one myself.

Of course the sky exists. Just look up. What you see is the sky. Are you thinking that something doesn't exist unless it is a solid object? There is more than one kind of existence. There are tangible objects, that you can touch, and there are intangible objects, such as ideas, thoughts, images, etc. that you cannot touch, but they certainly do exist.

Curiosity is a good thing, Star, I think you will enjoy growing up, keep asking questions but give a little more thought to how you phrase the questions.

No, I think we're all just figments of our imagination. Even our imagination is a figment of our imagination. So we're actually not imagining anything right now, we just think we are. only we don't exist, so absolutely nothing is thinking that we're imagining, which means that... never mind.

when the earth was made 2 meteors collided and that formed the earth and another piece broke off to form the moon..

the sky may exist and it may not, when you see the blue it is the ocean reflecting off the"sky" and everything up there and the sun has to be out for that to happen
