I'm sure people think my hands look ridiculous because of my rings, but I have my wedding/engagement set on one hand and on the other, I have my mom's wedding ring. I also wear a bracelet that was my mother's. I'm not trying to show off, they just all really mean something special to me.

this is exactly why i am very conservative in how much jewelry i wear
i never want to seem like i'm overdoing it
but i do rotate my rings so people think i've got alot of jewels anyways

I think it is both, to show that they have money and because it is or might be pretty.
but i dont wear jewelry, none at all.

I have a male friend who is into gold rings , chains whatever.
I told him once you must wear all that junk to cover up your lack of personality. Of course he didn't appreciate my remark.

i dont think so. some people just like it. i have quite a bit and im not rich at all. i dont wear alot all at once either. it gets on my nerves.
