You are both, if part of what defines you is your physical body. And whether we like it or not, aren't we all defined at least a little by our physical body? Isn't the fat kid who gets made fun of all the time a different person that he would have been if he hadn't experienced that? Or isn't the athlete a different person because of their physical strength than they would have been if they had chosen a life as a couch potato? How we look on the outside affects who we are on the inside, thus our inner self is altered and inextricably tied to how we look on the outside. You are not only physical, nor are you only spiritual. Like it or not, we humans are both.

Your physical body is finite, it will most definitely come to an end. However, your spirit, soul, inner being, inner light, whatever label you choose, is infinite. It will go on. Whether it goes on into an afterlife, or a new life, I don't think anyone really knows. But you will most definitely continue to exist, infinitely.
