if a quadrilateral is a parallelogram its a rhombus is false because it could be a rectangle or square it doesnt have to be rhombus. Squares CAN be kites because it is qualified for the equal side thing... and can be turned to make a diamond looking thing. I know i have no sense of logic whatsoever :] Glad i could help though.

the first one is false because all parallelograms are quadrilaterals, but not all parallelograms are rhombuses

The second one could be considered false because all squares are kites, not just some, but could be considered true because if you only pick two square and ignore all others the two you picked are kites. It just depends on how you read the word some. (meaning these ones but not any others, or these ones ignoring others)

The first one. A parallelogram isn't a rhombus unless all four of its sides are equal in length.

All squares are a particular form of kite called an equilateral, equiangular kite.

The first is false, this is because a quadrilateral could be a parallelogram, and be a rectangle...a rectangle is not a rhombus and thus proves the statement false.
