Hi,
When I was in grade school, (7th grade) I remember reading an Asimov story in which these people made of sugar lived this secret life, and then one day they went out in the rain and they dissolved. Anyone know the name of this story?? Do you know if it would be in an anthology?

Yes, it is "Rain Rain, Go Away", and it is in "The Collected Short Stories" Of Asimov (not sure that title is exact),
