I was wondering if you can use a USB controller (Iv'e got a laptop) with emulators MAME and Nesticle. I also use ZSNESW to play Super Street Fighter II.

I've used them using a gameport controller, plugged into the sound card but don't have any experience with USB game controllers.

Yes you can use a USB controller with no problems, In fact people that make arcade cabinets for their Mame systems use USB Control Interface ( http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=76_81 )

Play Asia (http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-19-71-99-49-en-15-usb%2Bcontroller%2Badaptor%2527.html ) offers all types of controllers for you to buy or use the sight for a referance to find what controller you would like to use.

Hey there,
get Mame32 for free here: http://j.mp/1p0CrzN

This game application has a wide range of games to play, some of them which may have been forgotten since they are old ones offered in arcades years ago.
For me, it's the best game ever.

Logictech makes a interest pad which will artwork with quite lots any interest and that they are shopper configurable with their drivers... as for flug and play, its a crap shoot
