Gifts mean more to me. Anybody can give cash out but when someone take the time to purchase something it is more sentimental.... homemade gifts are even better!!

i would much rather receive a cash so i can spend the money anywhere.. but a gift card/gift certificate to spend throughout an entire mall.. that'd be fine =]
but a gift means a person put more thought into it than a person who gave money
but if i'm giving someone else a gift.. i would rather get them a gift..so i wouldn't feel awkward about the price of the gift.. or like if i give money as a gift...if i gave my friend $20 i would worry that maybe she thought i was cheap or something.. and i don't like fêling that way =/

Most of the time, cash. No one really seems to know what I like, and I'm really not that tough to buy for. So, to save aggravation..cash.

A gift. It shows that they took time to pick out something.

depends...
When people give me useless stuff that I never need, I prefer cash. However, I prefer the gift when I get one from my husband and my husbands family. They are EXCELLENT shoppers!
