Use that speed and ball handling you're talking about to run circles around him.

Simple, big people are slower..Think of it as a challenge for you..Of course people are going to doubt you because of height but you have to try harder..Excel at the jump shot practice your speed and agility, along with stamina. Big people are clumsy so drive drive drive..If your fast and can move the ball well you can get to the line alot.. If your not as tall as you want to be succeed in shooting the ball or being a Steve Nash type of player..Speedy, team player that is a cognizant part of the team. Trust me if you have a wicked *** jump shot and can do great drives it will work out.

Way back in the day - and I mean way back - ABC Sports/NBA had a one-on-one competition, where you could have such a matchup. The key in that is to hit the jumpers to force the opponent out and then try to use a quick first step to drive to the hoop. On defense, it is important to body-up and keep the taller opponent from getting inside the paint -- challenge, challenge.

In a game, you may have a mismatch due to picks, someone slow getting back on D, etc., but in those cases you just have to do the best you can and hope help is on the way.

well you have to remember a shorter person is most likely going to be faster than a taller person. i would suggest that you dribble past the real quick,do some shake and bake and make sure you got the shot before you shoot over them.

Trip them. HA!! Really, speed will do it every time. The farther up your body goes, you are not as fast when it comes to being fast and efficient at the same time. Their legs start getting tangled. Shorter people have got the speed and the manuvers at the same time. Go for it.

The advantages are that you are quicker and probably a better ball handler. And a better shooter. Disadvantages are you won't block shots that often, and it is probably a little harder for you to score.

Speed on offense and quick hands on defense

well, ai wouldn't beat kg cause he'd back him down and dunk on him everytime (hi percentage shot) whereas ai would occasionally miss his jumper on kg (less hi percentage shot)
if you want to beat taller players, you gotta make up for it in every other category...

speed and quickness, most of the time, bigger guys have never really learned to jump and are kinda clumsy so little guys if they do things technically correct u can win,
