Is Bush going to send troops to Lebanon?

we need a massive airlift to bring our troops home tonight.
Most Republicans are protesting the new Federal wage hike as it means they get less millions and the poor can eat.
Bring our troops home tonight.
Arabs are smart enough to solve their own problems and certainly don't need any Republican help.
The Republican trick of keeping the war going till the election won't work.

Be nice if reality were that simple.
However, as my family escaped Islam in the 1950s, we've been expecting this war for years.
We also expected the United States to remain blissfully ignorant until it was too late.

President Bush surprised us with his perceptiveness, and some of the United States citizens have surprised us with their strength. Islam cannot again attempt what it has been trying without being in the spotlight.

It's either now, or they've failed, forever.

Oh, and I'm a democrat, second, patriot, first.

I've read the Quran (as well as several other holy books of Islam). I know what they have planned for us.

It's more complicated than sending troops or to war or bringing them home

But lets keep it simple.

If someone where mugging an old helpless person, wouldn't you want to help end the fight. That's what is morally right for a stronger person. Sometimes it take violence.

The same can be applied to a nation assisting another nation. There are terrorist nations attacking weaker nations. No other nation in the world can fight those nations as well as the USA.

For anyone to find glory or pleasure in war would be foolish. We all wish our troops could be with us. They are defending our right to speak, to protest, to worship how we wish or not, our other freedoms and the good people of this nation.

Instead of asking how can we bring them home now, how about asking how can we encourage them to WIN quickly so they can come home..

Sending troops to Lebonan would be the biggest blunder since the surge. Right now Hizb Allah is sitting on the sidelines watching Christians kill Sunnis and Sunnis kill Christians.

Given that, Rumsfeld probably has the men on the way.

Well apparently arabs arent smart enough! al queda is in lebanon right now, im glad the lebanon military is finally fighting back. But if they turn lebanon into another terrorst funding government the US and Israel will do something about it. Sorry, most of us will not tolerate people like osama and the rest of the terrorist. We failed badly in Lebanon before. Reagan went out like a punk. And, they never did find out who bombed the barracks and embassy.

I know people want to blame Iran/Hizbollah, but Casper Weinberger - Reagan's secretary of defense - said before he died that we still did not know who bombed the barracks and embassy.

SO I HIGHLY DOUBT WE WOULD GO INTO LEBANON
