I'm surprised how little you guys know about the Macintosh. That is what we're talking about, isn't it? Woz invented the Apple and the Apple II computers. They preceded the Macintosh and didn't have windows or mouse. A guy named Jef Raskin came to work for Apple in 1978 and visited the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center where he saw an experiment using a small box with buttons and rolling screen vector input connected to a computer. He asked Xerox if they intended to patent it and they said no. How could they not see the gold under their noses? Edison had as little regard for the vacuum tube when he first noticed that electrons could travel through empty space. Raskin brought the mouse idea back to Apple and the rest is history. By the way, in the early development, the mouse had as many as 5 buttons. The designers kept finding that only one button was used 99 percent of the time so they eliminated the other 4 buttons in favor of elegance and key commands (option key, for example).

The creator of the Macintosh computer was Jef Raskin although he didn't stick around for the final unveiling (local TV ad in 1983, national TV ad in January 1984) because Steve Jobs didn't think the Macintosh was a good project and finally he and Raskin parted company. Mac is a computer made my Apple Inc. Apple was co-founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ron Wayne. Today Steve Jobs is the CEO. So I would say the person who is most responsible for the Mac would be Steve Jobs.
