my korean friend (she's 5'11") says all asian females AND males r jealous of her cuz shes so tall.. she said that ppl take pills in china to become taller and thety use lotions to become white like us n they get surgeries to sharpen their chins, and make their noses higher n thinner like ours.

not tryin to be racist, i mean black ppl got da black pride movement and asians have dat "azn pride" which is quite racist but i wont get into dat..

I think everyone envies some quality from another race. I envy Asian eyes...they are so exotically beautiful.

I totally agree with you girl. I'm asian and you Korean friend (and not to be mean) sounds sort of full of it. And I never heard of all the things you mentioned about asians going through surgery to look white. The only thing I heard of are the eyes.

There are a lot of people who want to be something they aren't for whatever reason. It makes no one race any better than another. We are all, when it boils down humans. Un derneath the thin layer of skin everything is the same.We will all live, breath and die the same.

Please use English when posting on here, first of all. Most of us here are adults and find it difficult to translate the pseudo-ghetto colloquial.
But to answer your question, I don't know where your friend got her information from, but I have not heard of everyone in Asia getting plastic surgery to look Caucasian, taking pills to grow taller (not that it would work anyway), or lotion to make themselves lighter.

Well the "standard" of "popular" beauty in the media, even globally, is white. Which is ridiculous. Women in Asia for years have tried to whiten their skin. Shiseido has whitening creams and so does Clinique, supposedly. I don't think all Asian women want to be white.
Ironically, a lot of white women want to be orange (fake tans, get it?).

Why would anyone want to change their skin color or cultural background? I love myself and the history of my people in Africa and outside and I won't change it for the world. Everyone should have pride in their culture yet also accept other people. More importantly everyone should love who they are on the inside, obviously your friend needs help in loving who she truly is.

I don't see Whites as being any better or worse than other races... just there are alot of opinionated people in the world who would beg to differ.
As offensive as he may be, listen to Carlos Mencia explain the "advantages and disadvantages" of various races.... yes, they are based on stereotypes, but he has good points in my opinion.
