haha. I'd be startled and kind of LAugh out loud. that would be so awkward but funny. Of course I would think that is strange behavior and disturbing... If they were really serious and angry at me and they hit hard I would tell the assistant principle at my school or somebody.

First, what was happening around you at the time. Make sure you have all of your facts before you report the teacher. Sometimes it helps if you talk to the teacher first. Maybe it was a pat on the back for a good job that was too hard because someone pushed the teacher. Accidents do happen, but a teacher can get into a lot of trouble if your facts are not straight.

If someone saw it, get that witness to verify that it was "for nothing," since there could have been provocation. Or it could have been a high five that 'missed' or something. Tread carefully now. . .

RUN AWAY. Tell the principal. If he doesn't believe you, ask anyone who witnessed it to come with you and talk to the principal as much as it takes him/her to believe you.
