Well, I love fantasy, so the books I'm going to suggest are in that category.
Eragon( sequel- Eldest)
- a movie was made out of the first book, but as usual, the book was better. If you're looking for suspense, action, friendship with a touch of humor, this book is for you.
The Goblin Wood
- A story packed with sorrow at the beginning, but a heart- warming end between a girl, soldier, and goblin.
Fairest
- A story that teaches us all the power of love, and how everyone shines in their own way.
Pendragon( a series of books)
- This series is addicting if you want to get hooked on different worlds of different times.
Artemis Fowl( a series of books)
- Wanna try to beat a young master-mind at his own game? This book is a melting pot brimming with passion, smarts, suspense, and surprise.
Dragon Keeper
- The last of it's kind, this book features a teacher of the ages and one lucky child.
Septimus Heap( a series of three books)
- Well, it doesn't get any better than these books. I can't begin to describe the joy this book brought me.

I just read 19 Minutes, by Jodi Picoult about a school shooting and its aftermath. It was one of the most difficult books I've read (story-wise), but it was very good.
I also just read the first Stephanie Plum novel (One for the Money) by Janet Evanovich. It was adorable. An easy, fun read.
I'm beginning Cassandra Clare's City of Bones now, and so far so good.
Other books/authors I love and could read over and over are Harry Potter, the Harry Dresden series by Jim Butcher, the Codex Alera series by Jim Butcher, Kim Harrison, Dawn Cook, Libba Bray...

Stephen King is a very good author, I'm reading The Green Mile and so far it's amazing. Hearts in Atlantis is probably the best book there ever is! I also love White Oleander by Janet Fitch

'a piece of cake' by cupcake brown is an inspirational true story. It is the best book ive read in a long time and would happily recommend it to everyone i meet. My bf is even reading it and loving it and he hates those sort of books. It is also an international bestseller in the UK and USA.
