Rod Smith hands down. He is the 1st undrafted player to ever hit over 10,000 receiving yards. He led the league in receptions in 2001. He is currently 16th all time in receiving yards. He won back to back Superbowl's in '97 and '98. He also had 5 receptions for 180 yards including an 80 yard touchdown catch in Superbowl 33, in the Broncos 34-19 win. Also Smith was a finalist in the Walter Payton Man of the Year in 2004. Now he is definitely the most successful undrafted football player.

Priest Holmes. Went undrafted and was virtually given away by the Ravens and for a minute he was the best back in football.

Rod Smith, Kurt Warner and Sammy Knight have also had very productive NFL careers being undrafted. Do not even place Tony Homo on this list. He's a douchebag.

Priest Holmes. This is a guy who was never drafted and yet he held the rocord for most TDs in a season, albeit for only a few seasons. He has 92 career TDs and 4 1000+ yd seasons. Those are great stats for a first rounder and just almost unherard of for someone who was never drafted. That is why Priest Holmes is the greatest undrafted player ever.

There are so many undrafted football players who have gone on to become successful. To name a few...Antonio Gates, Kurt Warner, Priest Holmes, Rod Smith, Adam Vinateiri, Jake Delhomme...But by far the most successful or at least one that will eventually become the most successful is Willie Parker. He's gonna do wonders for the Black and Gold.

Antonio Gates, hands down. He may not get all the attention that other players get but he has been solid year in and out. As Chargers have had not a big time WR that can produce much they relied heavily on Gates, in 2005 he broke out giving life back to the TE position. He is a big time steal, also great for fantasy football.

Eventually Antonio Gates with the Chargers-

In four seasons he has 65 receptions for 3378 yards and 34 touchdowns.

Currently, Kurt Warner, originally with the Rams-

93.8 passer rating 1,645 out of 2,508 for 20,591. A .656 completion rating with 125 touchdowns and 83 interceptions. He also has a superbowl win, a superbowl MVP and two league MVP's in 1999 and 2001. Also, with his 65.6 completion percentage, he holds the distinction of being the most accurate qb.

Priest Holmes is he was the best RB in the league for a while and he had a great carrer ended by an injury he would have been a hall of famer no doubt and to be the best RB in the league takes a lot of talent so in my opinion he is the best.

Among active players it's Antonio Gates.

The best ever is still Warren Moon, the only player enshrined in both CFL and NFL Hall of Fame.
