I don't think anyone denies that homosexuality occurs in nature, but even then it is the exception...not the rule. The issue is that just because SOME people practice it does not make it the norm...rather than a variation/deviation from the norm. Consequently, most conservatives (can't speak for them all) are comfortable with homosexuals practicing their lifestyle, but resist making it the mainstream and granting it equal validity with heterosexual relationships. So, most of us recognize that a homosexual partner should have the same administrative rights as a heterosexual partner (i.e., visitation rights, rights of inheritance, etc.), but it is not to say that the relationship is in every way the same as a marital relationship.

hmmmm..homosexuality occurs in nature? Well, first we must understand that conservatives opinions and actions are usually based on christianity. Where as liberals believe more in an individuals freedom.

I don't think that Conservatives, Democrats or Republicans are afraid of ,homosexuals. I believe that many people are embarrassed by the public display of some gay people.

I think conservatives want to keep government out of private lives. The homosexual agenda is in favor of piling laws upon laws in favor of their own selfish, sexual preference. When homosexuals want to change the whole fabric of American families by changing the definition of marriage, when they want to make "thought crime" laws against anyone who differs with them, when they want to parade their own private affairs in the public arena... every American, no matter who they are, should not be afraid of homosexuals, but instead, stand up & be bold against this politically incorrect gibberish.

I do not like the label "homophobic" because I am not the one who is afraid. You deserve the same human rights as everyone. I don't like to have a radical agenda pushed at me, however, nor do I care for the assumption that because I am conservative that I somehow hate gays. That is simply not true.

because of an old book that says that men lack a rib, someone built a big ship and loaded two animals of each kind of animal on to, and has a bunch of rules (including not being gay). most of these rules are not only asinine and archaic, but aren't followed by the 'anti-gay conservatives'

You're funny.
You've never raised animals, or been out in nature, or you would know that there are no gay animals.
That was a hoax.
Which I don't care, believe it if it makes you feel better.

nobody is affraid of you. most conservatives think your sex should be your business and not something you walk around wearing on your sleeve or acting a certain way to demonstrate your sexual preferences. infanticide occurs in nature so we shouldn't fear that? or we should endorse that? faulty logic friend. go about your business and give respect to get it and don't expect someone to respect you merely because you are or are not of a certain sexual persuasion. we all have our own sexual picadillos but most of us shut the hell up about it and keep it where it belongs....good luck.

Who's afraid? I'm just tired of you pushing your agenda down my throat every bleeding second I'm awake! So you're gay? Just live your life without wanting me or the local, state, or federal governments to validate your existence. What you do is between you and God.
