The issue is not the report, but look at the American responses, they are telling ABC that they are aiding and abetting our enemies.

Rosie was fired because we went to the advertisers, not sure who put that list together but we need to do it again for all of ABC.

And for all the "useful idiots" that deny there is a war on terror, the terrorists are coming, just hope you or your family are not in the path

It appears that ABC does not mind giving our secrets to our enemies but they also do not like the first amendment. I guess it only gets to apply to them.

Rosie is an idiot...who gets high ratings. She was not fired. She just wanted more money than ABC wanted to pay. The idea that media should be censored or only report things in a favorable light would make us no better than a totalitarian regime. media in a free society should report things as they see them. when media simply becomes a soundboard for the government, it loses any sense of objectivity. Our nation was created with the idea that even the government should have some form of accountability. Governments are composed of humans. Humans lie. Humans manipulate to achieve individual and collective agendas. Without a media free to offer differing views, a select few could lead our country down a bad path with no voice to challenge those decisions.

i don't believe that it is possible to have a war on "terror" or any other non-tangible object or concept. we can have a war against (insert country). A war on terror is impossible to wage , let alone win because:

1) You can never declare victory because the "enemy' will never cease to exist. In fact, every person we kill in the name of a war on terror is likely to spawn more. Even if we managed to kill every radical islamist on the planet, there would still be other terrorists that have nothing to do with Islam. The kkk is classied as a terrorist organization. yet we have not eliminated them or other domestic terrorist organizations and their respective philosophies.

2) "terrorism" is one of the worst defined words on the planet that seems to be applied only to our enemies at the time. We have no problem with groups that use the exact same tactics as "terrorists" as long as they are on our side.

I suppose there is a war on terror, but it should not be in Iraq, as Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and posed no threat to the United States. And I have yet to see the evidence of the media supporting any attack on the US, and cannot see the sense to calling those who think to the contrary of your beliefs, "idiots".
One other thing, I also cannot understand why people keep refering this mess as being because of "liberal thinking ". It was the nations worst ever dictator that took us into the Iraq war, and now has no idea exactly why we are there. The mission changes daily. How can anyone win a war when no one knows why we are fighting? There was no WMD's, so why are we still there?
Unless my memory is gone, the war on terror was to get Bin Laden in Afghanistan, so what happened? I guess he was and is smarter than our great leaders after all.

The Left & The PRESS are a 5th column for the terrorist. Most likely that isn't their intention, neither is the fact that they are the best salesmen for the merchants for death. Rarely does anyone acknowledge that the press has a vested interest in violence. The greater the violence, the larger the audience for the news hour.

so... they're saying that it's bad to tell people that al-queda wants to kill us?

ABC should be thrown out for saying that? which is basically what the story is saying?

isn't this story supporting your idea... it's saying they want to attack us? so why are you attacking ABC which has the story?

I think there is a very real war on terror... I just think that Osama's not in Iraq... and people that think we're really making a dent in terror in Iraq are extremely naive of what they are talking about...

just the other day Bush said Osama was trying to attack America again? so... maybe we should go after Osama, since he's coming after us... instead of joking around in Iraq... where he probably wants us to stay out of his hair...
