Head up my friend, we played well, and take solace in the fact that we didn't get thrashed like the Manks did and we are still the most successfull British club in Europe. :)

I love the sour grapes here. Which free kick shouldn't have been given? The one that Pirlo bounced off Pippo? Yeah, there's no way a ref can make that call. After all, it's well known that Liverpool players are the only team in the world that are allowed to attack the legs from behind, right?
How come you don't blame the ref for calling an offsides on Pippo (who was not in the play) when Kaka had the ball in the clear? Oh, I forgot... you guys only blame the refs when they make the right calls, just not in your favor.
Oh yeah, where is the outrage when that guy dove twenty feet in the air without being touched by Gattuso whilst trying for a call? Ahh, the blind eye of English fandom. Everyone else's players dive, right? Your guy was just pacticing for the swim he was going to have after the match...
Put the blame where it belongs. Gerrard, and the entire offfence for that matter, was off form (did he really miss from six yards out?) and the defense, when tested, buckled.
I love the idea that one poster here had about ruining another human being's livihood just because they were upset about the result of a football match. I am going to save it and then bring it out the next time I read, "English football supporters are not 'hooligans'!" I have to agree, "barbarians" is a much more correct description than hooligan.
Cry all you want. It was a good game and the best team won. See you next year.
EDIT
By the way...
"... referee Herbert Fandel then blew the whistle 20 seconds before the minimum of three minutes of allotted extra time had been played, prompting anger from Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez as Milan's players celebrated." (source in box)
It was 20 seconds, not 50 :). As Milan had the ball when the whistle blew you were "cheated" the chance to chase for 20 more seconds.

I am actually laughing. All the scousers were laughing at me on Saturday so I am returning the compliment. Sad innit. I know we should want an English club to win but don't you think we all get fed up of listening about your history, when you prove yourselves in the premiership then perhaps we will cheer you in Europe. THERE'S ONLY ONE MAN UTD.
