of course it does. the first rule in magic is that you will recieve back whatever you put out three fold. just about any spell book or pagan book will tell you that. if you send out a "prayer" or "spell" whatever you want to call it, for a friend to be healthy that would come back to you three fold, while if you curse somebody, again threefold, it is just like cursing yourself.

Does anyone really know what either of these things are? Where is the user's manual on black magic or karma? Not yet written, methinks. This is the only basic law of the universe we can count on: what goes around comes around. Peace.

No, it doesn't. I know a few people who used it, and they aren't in any spiritual or physical trouble. The whole "comes in threes" thing is Wiccan, not magical. Magic has it's own laws, but they aren't dictated by some weird guy from Britan after the war. If you study the old grimoires of Europe, certain Mexican and Native American magic spells, No one was afraid of a magical backlash.

There's no proof and obviously no studies done. If your delving in the black magic be careful. I personally don't believe some of it is bad. But I haven't been brave enough to go too far with it. As far as I've gone is with Alister Crawley and was not comfortable with what I felt.

Most definitely.

I forgot the exact source of this bit of knowledge I picked up, but...

Magic works in sets of threes. If you cast a spell that does good for someone, you get that good effect coming back to you three-fold.

Of course, that means if you cause someone to be in pain or do something bad to them, the effect you caused will come back to you three-fold as well.

This is why amateurs shouldn't try to use magic unless supervised by someone who's experienced. * nods *

Of course, I only work with energy-based magic and shamanistic work with the spirits. I don't do the "double-double" method.

No. Only if you are silly enough to forget to change your karma or lack the ability.

Only if you believe in karma. Not everyone believes it exists.

if you believe in negative energy and allow it to consume your space then you will experience negative karma. what you produce in your mind whether positive or negative will be the result of your experiences.
