Lately I've been devouring books by Kristin Billerbeck. I also have read a good book by Lauren Walker and Sir L....something. But thjen I also read a book by Meg Cabot (Size 14 is not Fat Either) and was shocked to find it was chock-full of profanities and other bad stuff. Of course, I'm old enough to read this stuff, but hate exposing myself to it because I am very easily influenced. I can read pretty much anything, I'm a teenager and a major book worm. I was wondering if anyone has some nice, clean, book recomendations? They don't even really have to be christian, just a good book you read or an author you like that doesn't swear -too much- in their books. I want it PG-rated. Thanks!

the left behind series
the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe
the lord of the rings series
the hobbit

All of these are pretty clean, and most of them have strong Christian undertones as well.

in case you do no longer recommendations somewhat previous form novels, you may evaluate Grace Livingston Hill. lots of those books are set in the early twentieth century and you will tell too as a results of fact the worst observe in them is Darn and that's variety of a important curse observe. somewhat hokey to 3 yet staggering to me as a results of fact it jogs my memory of a time while manners and propriety mattered. you may often locate them at previous storage sales to boot as at Christian e book shops. wish that helps.
