my girlfriends mum and dad have just bought some new leather seats that have some dints in where they have been sat on top of each other. Any bright ideas on how to get the dints out? Thanx

I THINK I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN MATEY,usually with my carpet i get dints that look awful but they work themselves out eventually.....another thing i recently noticed was a credit card that was bent because i sat on it at work straightened after putting it on top of the central heating boiler so maybe something warm would do the trick chappy

its easy first u need to find out if the leather is streched or if its just the padding that is displaced if the leather is streched then it is rather difficult to do but if thepadding is displaced i recomend massageing the spot from th outside of the dent to the center this shouldd help relocate the padding if it is the leather then u will need to get under it and push up on it another trick is to wet the spot then apply some moderate heat like from an iorn but be carful not to have it to hot or u will scorch the leather the drying of the water on the leather will cause the leather to pull in the direction of the heat thuss removeing the heat this i know from years of work in a shoe repair shop and from fixing biker jackets and purces

The best treatment is time and use. As long as the leather hasn't been stretched excessively just sitting on the seats will even them out. If that looks unlikely take it up with the supplier

Give them a good seeing to with some Renovo Leather Rennovator, worked on my MGF seats that had cracks.

heat will get those out over time, depending on how deep they are, I'd say if they are more than an inch deep, its probably permanent.
