Everyone on this site collectively couldn't even dream that far.

A person who spent the next 500 years in suspended animation would swear s/he was on a different planet and probably in a different galaxy.

It was only slightly more than 500 years ago that most people thought the world was flat.

100 years ago many people though any speed in excess of 35 MPH would be instantly fatal to a human.

60 years ago the sound barrier was a brick wall in the sky that no man would penetrate.

And don't forget the period when the Earth was the center of the universe, then the sun. And the men who were ridiculed or killed because they knew differently.

So what is impossible today? If I lived long enough I would be able to add:

A scant few years ago the speed of light was considered the absolute speed limit for the universe.

If you can dream it, it can happen. All that is needed is the time necessary to develop it and a similar desire.

I see no limit to mankind's lust for knowledge and his all consuming need to explore.

nobody really knows. i think it is growing in crazy ways but at the same time in the 80's (remember back to the future) we were supposed to have flying cars and instant food and all kinds of things that we are obviously years away from.
