I usually have mine stretched out, but when I sit any other place mt knees are bent.

If I'm on a road trip I bend and stretch my knees, but when I'm driving at home usually have it bent since I drive a stick shift.

Definetely stretching it out. I am also known to have driven many times on the interstate with my left foot sticking out of the window- true story, though I don't recommend it, since there can always be a bored cop patroling the highway.
