As long as the baby is healthy that is all that matters. I'm 35 weeks and I've gained 2 lbs during this whole pregnancy. My maternity clothes are definately loose around my hips, but the baby is good!

I loose weight during pregnancy as well. I'm 34 weeks, and at my last appt, I had lost 4 lbs, but the baby was growing and just fine. Doc said weight fluctuation during pregnancy was normal and just fine. Good Luck!

The amount of weight you gain isn't important- that's why a mom-to-be's weight isn't monitered that closely anymore. As long as your baby is growing normally, which is checked at Antenatal appointments, then everything is alright, and if the baby isn't growing normally, then your healthcare provider will make you aware of it.
