I have to do a school project on Mao Zedong's Communist China, and I need something to represent it. We have to make a time capsule, and I need 1 thing to put in it that relates to MZCC. Please help, I'm almost done!

Can you get a copy of his Little Red Book? As I'm sure you know, since you did the project and aren't just looking for help from YA at the last minute, every citizen basically had to carry it around. Its a collection of his quotes and thoughts. Pretty much the symbol of Mao's China.

Stiggo66 has the best idea. The 'little Red book' was a symbol of the "Cultural Revolution" during the 1960's and of Mao Zedong. Another idea would be female shoes -- although the Kuomintang government banned female foot binding in 1914, it was the Communist Party that enforced the rule while the Nationalist government under Chiang Kai Chek allowed it to continue. Another idea may be a "fly swat" because of the campaign to eliminate flies in China, again this was in the early to mid 1960's-- everyone had to swat a minimum of 3 flies a day to help eliminate flies.
