It would be awesome if my chick was as into sports as I was. Now I know they say guys want a girl that is like their mom, well... My mom knows more about my fav team than I do >.<

I don't see why not. Just because a girl plays sports does not mean that she is not feminine, pretty, smart, nice, etc.,(which is what a guy is looking for anyway). This is not an issue to worry about. Remember people should like a person for who they are, which has a lot to do with what they do. If a guy does not like a girl just because she plays sports, then he is probably not a nice person and she may well be better off than if he had liked her. Physcologically a girl who plays sports might be seen as a "tomboy" but remember that playing sports is not the only time that people see you to get an impression about you. Sometimes you might think that nobody likes you but I can't think of anyone who does not have someone who likes them eventually. Don't waste time worrying about this, because it might just lead to other negative thoughts. Focus on other things like sports, studies,friends and the rest will eventually fall into place. Build yourself personally, academically and socially in positive ways. The stronger and better a person you are the more people will like you.

p.s. Just don't get into body building...please!
p.p.s. Just incase you are actually into bodybuilding...it was just a joke...I don't think any less of you...bodybuilding is a legitimate sport as well.

Absolutely.

Building a relationship partly depends on shared experiences. The more things you have in common, the better.

Not every taste has to be shared, but it helps if some do. I can understand why my wife enjoying watching baseball so much, even though she's a Mets fans and I'm a Red Sox fan. We may go to a game and appreciate it in slightly different ways, but it represents a common bond.

For years, women were on the outside looking in on sports. Now, many understand why they are so much fun -- to play and watch.

The theory applies to any activity, of course, but sport had been a male domain for years. Things have changed for the better.

Not always for either. Some guys like watching sports with other guys, and if you're not extremely knowledgeable on the subject most guys will find it annoying. But if you've got too much knowledge most guys could get intimated by you.

But overall I think most guys like playing sports with girls.

I think it depends on what certain guys like, but for guys that like sports yes. It is something that you would have in common because you both enjoy sports.

Im a girl and jock, sorry girl but it's not until later guys really acknowledge jocks unless your a knock out. I used to be a complete tomboy but i changed now im a lot girly, Sikh when will jocks get the best Guyss /:
