I was just wondering wether one day in the US and on an internationl level republicans will be forgiven for issues like Iraq and global warming.
How long would it take ? As people always remember your mistakes and not the good things you have done.

I do not want to discuss here the two issues but history will tell us... and I have my idea about it.

I live in the United States of Amnesia. People usually vote for the candidate who promises to lower their taxes, not for what their ignorant political party actually stands for. But, on an international level the GOP has alot of work to do gain back some respect. I really don't think they understand how unpopular Bush and the Republican party have become around the world.

Yes when 100 years from now when the temperature is only 2 degrees higher and everyone laughs at the whole notion of "global warming". And also when Iraq and Afgahnistan start to look like the Balkins where life is good after the war. (Thank you Bill Clinton)
Also when Iraq is able to reverse its culture of fear and fix thier infrastructure thier currency is going to take off much like Kuwaits and Hitlers Germany, just wait it will happen. (Current Iraqi law prevents anyone from taking Iraqi Dinars out of the country, much like contractors and soldiers did in Kuwait when the KUW$ was 10 to the $1. It is now worth KUW$ 1 to $4 US

hmmm...probably about the same time Democrats are forgiven for allowing such things as the WW1 intervention, murdering serveral hundred thousand civilians in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, over 3 million civilians in Vietnam, the Sudan genocide, and the unlawful interventions in Kosovo and Somalia.

What's to forgive? Neither have finished yet. When Iraq turns out to be the best war ever fought and won will the left apologize for all of their insults? I doubt it.

Republicans caused Global Warming? Did they cause it on Mars as well? It's warming up there too, you know...

Republicans need "forgiveness" for ousting a terrorist/dictator that made a mockery of the U.N. for 12 years?

What kind of "touchy feely" treehugging left wing concept is INTERNATIONAL FORGIVENESS?

They have a hell of alot of apologizing to do and they have alot of changing to do with their world view and policies for me to even begin to forgive them.

You mean will be forgiven for freeing the Iraqis or debunking the myth of Global warming. For these I will take thanks not forgiveness.

Thanks, hon, that is sooo generous of you. But, really, we don't need forgiveness. So don't waste your time--or ours.
