Buffalo burgers, cereals, and watermelon/fruit salad, but many restuarants don't carry them so good luck in finding something healthy to eat in the junk-food nation...

I had a project with searching a sturdy, speedy and straightforward idea for a cooked breakfast What I have each and every morning is an egg white omelette All you want is two egg whites (30 cal) a million diced tomato (20-35 cal searching on length) Herbs (your selection; I quite like parsley) Oil Salt Pepper basically whisk the egg whites, salt and pepper at the same time in a small jug. Pour a smidgen of oil onto a paper towel and use it to oil the fry pan, then pour the egg whites onto the pan. After a couple of minutes, positioned the tomatoes & herbs on 1/2 of the omelette and then cook dinner for yet another minute turn the 1/2 with out vegetables onto the different part and then cook dinner till browned Taa-daa... it is a 50cal breakfast ideal then and there you should use different vegetables and some low fat cheese besides - it truly is basically what i devour earlier i pass to college

Baked potato or sweet potato with no butter or cream cheese. Vegetables with no butter. Plain white or brown rice, or even rice pilaf or wildrice isnt too bad. Chicken, Fish or shrimp with no butter, sauce or oil or very little of it, usually grilled or sometimes baked is ok. Every now and then a very lean cut of meat, grilled, such as filet mignon. Fresh fruit and/or yogurt.

If you stick to the above foods you will have a low calorie meal that includes all of the food groups with very little fat.

Subs and salads are not that low calorie if you add a lot of mayonaise or high fat salad dressing such as ceasar or ranch. I used to eat like above but after the baby, I got some bad eating habits, I need to go back to this type of eating as well. It will keep you trim.

Go to a greek restaurant and try some of the food.
Hummus and pita is great, tebouleh (sp?) is a nice salad.

Most restaurants are in the taste business, not health, so avoid chains. Mom and Pop restaurants will be more willing to prepare something to your liking than a chain.

Grilled or baked lean meats like chicken, seafood, and turkey if your eat meat. Its high in protein and low in calories. Most places that aren't fast food have many options along those lines. You can get rice and veggies to go with it and sometimes fruit options are available.

If your eating fast food you just have to try to make it work. Watch out for mayo and high calorie salad dressings on subs and salads.

A chicken breast or shrimp salad with:

1) NO dressing poured over it. Put dressing on the side and dip your fork into it before taking each bite. You are getting the taste of the dressing, but not very much is actually consumed.

2) And this sounds weird but tastes fine--Ask for NO dressing, just vinegar. Sprinkle vinegar on salad. If it is just too tart for you, sprinkle 1-2 packages of sweetener over it.

Food that's grilled and not deep fat fried. Especially chicken and if you add the creamy sauces you just ruined the taste and added a bunch of calories. Add fresh veggies with sauce on the side so you can add it.

Or Fish...grilled of course, not fried

Fish! Grilled or broiled fish is very good for you. Red Lobster has all kinds of high quality fresh fish.
