Bullying is not gender specific. Girls can do just as good a job, if not better, when it comes to bullying others. The girls just have ways of hiding it.
You're ugly...You're fat...You wear the wrong clothes...You wear the wrong shoes...You do your hair wrong...On and on it goes.
But, just as in the adult world, physical abuse gets more attention then verbal abuse. The boys bully with physical violence or threats of physical violence. Girls bully with words, mean hateful words, that can scar more deeply than physical abuse.
And, unfortunately, the girl bullies are getting younger and younger. It used to be middle school where it started, then 4th grade, now you see girls at it in 1st grade and even kindergarten!

Bullying is not gender dependent, both sexes can and do practice it. Although male bullies are probably more prevalent than female ones.

Naw. Girls can be just as horrible bullies as any guy. All it takes is someone who is unhappy and wants to take it out on someone that they perceive as weaker than they are, either physically or mentally. Or even in a subordinate position, like a boss, landlord, or law enforcement personnel. They are everywhere in all shapes sizes and sexes.
