I felt that Elizabeth did Rosie wrong again today. I watched the show and Rosie asked her a simple question and she wouldn't give a yes/no answer. That what started the interaction on Monday between the two. Elizabeth has a Republican mindset and will never say anything negative about Bush no matter how wrong he is. Rosie called her a coward and I agree with her comment 100% because she will not support anything outside of her mindset. I haven't liked Elizabeth since day one and I probably won't watch the show once Rosie is gone in 3 weeks. She brought so much attention to the show and good or bad it still brought up the ratings. It was the best thing that Barbara Walters did to hire Rosie.
Hope that helps.......

I think Rosie has a problem with anyone else having an opinion and I applaud Elizabeth for standing up for herself and her beliefs and not allowing Rosie try to bully her around.

Rosie never said that the US military are terrorists.
She said that the insurgents and the innocent Iraqi civilians see the US military as terrorists. You have to understand where she was coming from. If you lived in Iraq and were an innocent citizen, wouldn't you consider the US occupation and the killing of innocent Iraqi civilians to be an act of terrorism?
Rosie has done nothing but support the US troops. She's given her time and a LOT of money to the decrepid conditions of the hospital where our dismembered troops have gone to recover.
She and Elisabeth are friends, but I have to say that Elisabeth was cowardly for not doing two things.... One, answering the question "do you think I think the US troops are terrorists" - and - "sticking up for Rosie when the right-wing media twists her words".
Rosie does not need Elisabeth for a friend. With a friend like Elisabeth, who needs enemies.
Elisabeth sat on the sidelines and allowed the right-wing media to twist Rosie's words. She sat there and did nothing, and I sincerely believe Elisabeth loved every second of it.

Ladies, please. Elizabeth - there are opinions on both sides - unfortunately you think and demand that your right wing statements are the correct ones. When did it happen that you became so bias. You were ignorant to Joy when she spoke of things that you did not agree with - so in turn you mimicked Joy and gave opinions as she was trying to speak - learn some manners. If you are prowar why doesn't your husband quit his day job and join the armed forces so he can protect America. It is nice to be so snug when you know that your husband is coming home everynight and you do not have to worry if he captured, maned or killed.
Rosie - we love you and feel your passion - only 3 weeks left and the View will be a show I will then turn off for good.

Rosie needs to shut up but I am no fan of Liz's and saying she is right or wrong. In not so many other words, Rosie called the US TROOPS terrorists but she she also say she support the troops---which is it? What I want Rosie to do is go on O'Reilly's show and argue with him---you have an open invitation to go---what's the matter Rosie, afraid, scared of a little face to face with someone who can actually go toe to toe with you. Just argue with Liz and others while you are on the show but never face to face----COWARD

After Rosie leaves The View, she desires to be stored off of any public broadcasting. i'm hoping that each and every television, or cable, or radio exec is familiar with what a drain she would be. there is not any longer something incorrect with somewhat controversy, yet she has lost quite much all her credibility, and has become purely annoying.

Rosie speaks her mind...she makes sense! Elizabeth is too right winged...she needs to open her eyes and ears. She should be axed from the show! I think that I to would argue, as she would drive me crazy. In everything that the President has done and said, she still has blinders on! She thinks that it is ok to impeach President Clinton, for his errs, but not to impeach Bush for his. He invaded a country, that should not have been invaded. He let his own people down during Katrina. He doesn't publicize the coming home of fallen soldiers. Perhaps if it was, more people would be more on the side of Rosie. In my country, soldiers that have been killed in the line of duty, it is up to the families whether or not to have their funerals made public. Our PM did not want this publicized either, but we as a nation, would not allow this to happen. To date, I believe only one soldier was not made public, as per request of their family.

Gee, I was beginning to think no one saw it! Rosie said to Elisabeth the other day, which started the latest problem: "With 650,000 civilians dead in Iraq, who are the terrorists, Elisabeth?" Now, what does that sound like to you? It sounded to me as if Rosie was back at it calling the US the real terrorists. Since neither Bush nor anyone in government are over their in Iraq, that would leave the troops to do the "real terrorist" job.
Elisabeth was a bit surprised that Rosie would say such a thing, I was not. She tried to get Rosie to admit that she didn't mean it the way it sounded, but she refused, like a typical Democrat liberal like she is. She's never wrong when she talks about the government. Now Rosie's mad at Elisabeth because Elisabeth is believing what Rosie said? C'mon! Rosie is hurt because Fox reported that she said that? Then maybe she should do some damage control, but she won't do it.
And did you get a look at the way that Applegate chick dissed Elisabeth when she came up on stage, refused to shake her hand, or look at her, and brushed past her?!
What has Rosie ever done, really? Big deal, she had her own show. She wasn't nearly as political or as hate-filled on that as she is on "The View" or she might not have been too successful on that. Now that she's made her money, she can say and do whatever she wants? No way! She called the troops terrorists!!!! I saw her do it! If she can't apologize than she deserves what she gets!
Rosie's been a problem since she got there and maybe it's time that she goes. Not in 4 weeks, but NOW!

Rosie's going to throw as many punches as she can get in before her time's up. She and Elizabeth are polar opposites on just about every issue, which makes for good TV - if it were two people whose opinions I actually valued. It's just a lot of white noise - (in flat density signal sense)

I think this world need a few more Rosies in it. And a lot less high pitched squeaky voiced, narrow minded, Kool-aid drinking chipmunks like Elizabeth.
