Im a 15 year old girl and I need more books to read. My favourite books are Twilight and New Moon by Stephenie Meyer. They are about a girl who has fallen in love with a vampire and I highly recommend them to everyone. They are amazing. I also like books by Jacqueline Wilson and Meg Cabot. I am not really interested in books like Lord of the Rings. I was just wondering what are your favourite books?

"Stargirl" by Jerry Spinelli is a wonderful book about a girl at a high school who dares to be different. One of my all-time favorites is "Holes" by Louis Sachar - I could read that book a million times over, honestly! I love the Harry Potter books, but it sounds like that isn't really your type. Another of my favorites is "The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle" by Avi. It's about a young lady in the 19th century who's all about manners, but ends up on a ship with rowdy sailors for two months. There's a book titled "Beauty" that's a WONDERFUL adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, from Beauty's point of view. "I am David" by Anne Holm is wonderful too, it's about a boy during the Holocaust who escapes from the concentration camp he's spent his whole life in, and gets introduced to this strange world. "The Giver" by Lois Lowry is fantastic...I hope these help. I have read bazillions of books in my life! Oh, and for an EXCELLENT book that is nonfiction but is very riveting, there is "The Hiding Place" by Corrie ten Boom with John and Elizabeth Sherrill...it paints a picture of what it was like during WWII. Corrie ten Boom hides Jews for a long time in Nazi-occupied Holland, and eventually is sent to a concentration camp. Hope that's enough for you, hehe! Happy reading!

I absolutely LOVE Twilight and New Moon! Best books ever! You can read Eclipse this August 7th, but I'm sure you already knew that. Try reading some of Stephenie Meyer's outtakes and extras from Twilight and New Moon on her website, www.stepheniemeyer.com. There's also Chapter One of Twilight written from Edward's perspective, which is part of a work-in-progress book called Midnight Sun.

Murder mysteries.
I just finished "The Sabbathday River" by Korelitz. Really good. 2 dead babies, and who did it?
Now I am reading short stories by Joseph Conrad. He is an outstanding, famous writer, and was Polish, and STILL wrote in beautiful English."Outpost of Progress""The Secret Sharer." ohwow
Also, Elizabeth Berg is a great writer.
Go to the library and just start at one end and pick up a few books-work your way around it.

Across the Nightingale Floor by Lian Hearne is my favorite book for your agegroup. It is a love story set in feudal japan, and is the most beautifully written book i've ever read. Books by Kate Thompson are good too.
