The old man now, but the fast forward 30 years when the doctor is old he will have more than the frugal dude had when he was that age.

I would not be suprised to see the old man with the old pickup and the 2 bedroom house to have a lot of money stashed away in an account or in other investments.
A person with everything is not necesarily rich, even if they are bringing in big bucks. Lots of doctors have had to declare bankruptcy.

I would say the old man, just my thoughts but I figure he has probably saved every penny he has ever made. And I be the doctor spends it as fast as he makes it.
