Oh OK, so if it's under 12 ounces than you're OK. But do you still get a citation ticket issued by the police? Also is Singapore known to have good high quality weed?

Whoever said Pot was decriminalized in Singapore was incorrect. It's highly illegal and faces execution charges.

Just put a towel under you r door if you have to get High
when you are on vacation or business in Singapore.

The cops are really cool if you do get busted, prisons have cable TV in every cell with tempurpedic matresses and private shower.

The jail kitchen is open 24 hours with your choice of breakfast lunch or
dinner and you are allowed to drink one six pack a night

Last I knew, quite sometime ago, possession of illegal drugs in Singapore was punishable by death. I don't know if Singapore considers MJ to be illegal or not, but until I knew for a fact, either I wouldn't go there or I wouldn't screw with MJ while there.

Dude, people have been EXECUTED for having weed in Singapore. One guy was just in their airport transferring between international flights. Are you nuts?

Seriously, they don't **** around over there. They have a nice little trial and hang you the next Friday.

No it is not. If you are caught possessing more than a stated amount of drugs, you are presumed to be trafficking controlled drugs which carries the death penalty. Singapore applies the death penalty also to foreigners regardless of their country of origin.

Possession or consumption of Cannabis:

*Up to 10 years of imprisonment or S$20,000 fine or BOTH

Illegal traffic, import or export of:
* Cannabis of more than 500 grams > DEATH
* Cannabis resin of more than 200 grams > DEATH
* Cannabis mixture of more than 1,000 grams > DEATH

You can refer to the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) website for more info: http://www.cnb.gov.sg/drugs/index.asp

Hong Kong's maximum sentence for trafficking drugs is life imprisonment plus a fine of HK$5 million ($644,500).
