WHY do we have to preview our answers if we can just go back and edit them?

Well I have even previewed and submitted my question then gone back and changed it.

Perfect ex: I was the second to answer a question earlier today - and I said "I agree"... The first person to answer was a bit vulgar and it looked as if I agreed with her - the good thing was that I was able to edit my answer by writing "I agree with ****"...

IDK.... But maybe because even with the preview screen a lot of people still post a lot of spelling mistakes and some stuff is worded so it doesn't make any sense at all!
