Lobbyists. Special interest groups. Each party blaming each other for the nation's problems. Are we in for a change?

I don't believe so. The problem lies with the voters. They are loath to vote for a party or candidate that "doesn't have a chance to win". This is how the 2 party system perpetuates itself, no matter how disgusting it gets.

I would love to see two or three parties come in and just yank the rug out from both of these corporate whore parties who are willing to sell our country out from under us to the highest bidder to their party's coffers. I would love to see the new parties pass laws that would illegalize corporate contributions and lobbying to the political process. Then we'd have our country back.
Sorry, I don't believe Unity 08 is the answer. You're still getting the same 2 parties that are causing the problems and selling their souls to the highest corporate payer.
Vote Green or Libertarian.

That is one of the principle reasons I support Obama. He doesn't accept contributions from lobbyists or PACs and has consistently worked on a bi-partisan basis.

That's the kind of change I want to see!

Yes. Unity 08 or independents may be the answer.

I hope so. I hope people are able to see now that the Democrats are just as corrupt as their Republican counterparts. If you can't see this, you are truly blind.
