Never!
When my mom passed away, the doctor suggested we have an autopsy done to see if it was indeed alzheimers or alzheimers type symptoms that were brought on by the cancer. My dad, my sister and I all decided we did not want to know if it was truly alzheimers. Why? Because it is genetic and we didn't want to live our entire adult lives worrying that this was going to perhaps happen to us.
Why would we want to know the bad? why would we want to know the good? Life constantly is filled with surprises of joy and sorrow. But the challenges we face are what mold us...... make us appreciative......... make us understand. To know of things ahead of time would remove our appreciation entirely. Instead of feeling blessed......... I'm sure we would eventually feel burdened.
I'm content without the power. The suspense of the unknown is great enough to keep me excited with anticipation. :)

I have asked family and friends this same question several times. I would accept this power. Not only would I be able to secure my own and my family's financial security but think about it...if I knew there was going to be a plane crash where hundreds would die, I could warn people to avert a tragedy. If I know exactly where a tornado or hurricane will hit, I can help to get the evacution orders out. Just think of all the help you could do. As for knowing the day I would die, I would even gladly accept that. If I know, then I can make sure I have said my good-byes to loved ones and made my arrangements. I could die knowing that people wouldn't tear themselves apart afterwards for not saying what needed to be said in time.

I already have a smidgen of this power, and it stinks. I can always tell if something terrible is about to happen, but I never know what. And things can change in an instant. If bet on one team, the opposing one suddenly comes back from nowhere and wins with one field goal. It stinks to wander around feeling sick and waiting for that ball to drop and not being able to do something about it. Give me telekinesis any day. (Tomorrow, in fact, would be nice.)

Not at all. What would be the point of life if you knew what was going to happen for the day everyday before your day even began? I think life is about and is for that matter the uncertainties and the what ifs, so if you don't have those I guess I believe you don't have a life. Or at least a bad quality of one.

I don't think I could enjoy another minute knowing the future so I wouldn't want any part of it . I think it would be so overwhelming you couldn't do anything but freak out .

considering all the stress one has to deal with in regular day to day living, imagine adding this to the picture.
I think I too would pass. The ramifications alone would drive me insane.

The future is an illusion, does not exist (obvious, though so obvious it's dumb and because people don't want to be seen as dumb don't see it) so you can create your future now and you can decide how it's gonna look, so you already have that power, what, are you mocking people¿? =D

No. I'd be too depressed seeing when how all my relatives were going to die.

Yes, if not for personal satisfaction I could guarantee the financial stability of my posterity.
